Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

1. Introduction

BioShares provides a secure biodata creation and sharing platform for individuals and families. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you can request deletion or removal of your data.

No data selling: BioShares does not sell personal data.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate BioShares and deliver the secure sharing experience.

  • Account details such as name, phone number, and authentication information.
  • Biodata content you create or upload, including photos and profile fields you choose to share.
  • Subscription and billing details related to your plan purchase.
  • Viewer data, analytics events, device information, and security logs.
  • Support messages, feedback, and deletion or refund requests.

3. Why We Collect Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and secure your account using phone OTP login.
  • Let you create, manage, and share biodata securely.
  • Track views, performance, and engagement for viewer analytics.
  • Support contact approval, access control, and link revocation.
  • Process subscription payments and manage plan access.
  • Monitor app stability, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

4. Viewer Name and Mobile Data

When a viewer opens a shared BioShares link, we may collect their name and mobile number so the owner can understand who viewed the biodata and evaluate a contact request. We may also store view timestamps, device details, approximate location derived from IP address, and access status for analytics and security.

5. Contact Approval Flow

BioShares uses a contact request approval flow. A viewer may submit a request to see contact information, but those details remain hidden until the biodata owner approves the request. We store request status, decision history, and related audit details to keep the approval process secure and traceable.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

BioShares may use trusted third-party service providers to support authentication, secure file storage, notifications, payments, analytics, diagnostics, security monitoring, and service reliability. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform services on our behalf.

Where diagnostics or service monitoring are enabled, technical metadata such as device model, app version, error details, timing information, and crash logs may be shared to help us identify and fix issues. These records are used only to support the service and are not meant to contain intentional biodata content.

7. Payments and Cashfree

Subscription payments are processed through Cashfree. We share only the information needed to complete the transaction, verify payment status, and reconcile invoices. BioShares does not store full card numbers, UPI PINs, or similar sensitive payment credentials on its own servers.

8. Security and Screenshot Protection

BioShares uses security controls such as access tokens, encryption in transit, role-based access, and secure media delivery. We also provide screenshot protection measures and watermarking to discourage unauthorized copying, but no screen protection can be guaranteed on every device.

Your biodata is stored in encrypted format and protected by multiple layers of security, including authentication, access controls, and secure sharing permissions. BioShares is designed to keep your personal biodata private and accessible only through authorized use of the platform.

BioShares does not sell personal data. Our developers and staff do not routinely access user biodata during normal platform operations. Access may only occur in limited cases such as user-requested support, security investigation, legal compliance, or system maintenance, and only where necessary.

9. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with trusted service providers only when needed to operate the platform, deliver notifications, store files, process payments, or maintain support and diagnostics. We require these providers to handle data securely and only for the purpose we specify.

10. Retention and Deletion

We keep account and biodata information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize active account data, biodata, media, contact requests, and related records from our active systems, subject to legal retention requirements and limited backup cycles.

You may also request deletion of specific biodata or media where supported by the product flow.

11. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data where applicable.

  • Update your profile and biodata from your account.
  • Delete your account and associated content.
  • Withdraw access by revoking shared links.
  • Contact us if you believe any data is inaccurate or no longer needed.

12. Children's Privacy

BioShares is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and may provide an additional notice in the product or by email.
